Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A human being can recognize easily a person from human face. Human face has a important role to distinguish person. Our research group has been studying face recognition, especially, we use partial face images (for example, eye, nose, mouth, and ear image) for input data. Now an extraction of partial face images has been carried manually. In this case, we have some problems, such as some variations in position relative each other and we need a fixed implement. In this case, we have developed a partial face tracking system by using flesh color on animation images. It was possible to build a partial face database under free-style environments.
