| 抄録(和) | 本報告では一般環境下での動画像からの手領域の実時間抽出手法について述べる。従来の画像処理による手指動作認識手法では、一様背景・特殊照明・マーカの装着などの利用環境への様々な制限を利用して手領域を抽出するため、その特殊な環境下でのみ認識が可能であることが多く、より一般的な環境下で適用可能な手法の開発が望まれている。本手法では、動画像の動き情報および多重解像度情報を利用することで一般環境下での手領域の抽出を可能とする。具体的には、画像の各画素での輝度変化と多重解像度画像を利用して移動物体を抽出し、色情報を利用して手領域を特定する。本手法を実際の動画像に適用した結果、一般環境下での本手法の有効性が確認された。 |
| 抄録(英) | This paper describes a method for real-time extraction of hand regions for hand motion recognition from a sequence of video images under general environment. Most methods previously proposed for hand motion recognition by image processing are only applicable under various restrictions such as uniform background, special lighting or color markers on hands or fingers. The method proposed here uses motion and multiple resolution information to extract hand regions under general environment. In detail, the method extracts moving objects with brightness change in each pixel and in multiple resolution images, and specifies hand regions with color component analysis.
