| Abstract(in English) | The writer recognition techniques have come to the level of practical use in part, leaving many unresolved problems. This report describes the state-of-the-art of this technology, subsequently explaining the situation which induces difficulties in application. It especially gives weight on the differences between on-line information and off-line information related to the differences between writer identification and writer verification. |
