| 抄録(和) | 本稿は、対象物体の見かけの大きさ変化を自動的に検出し、テンプレートの大きさ・画像を更新しながらマッチングを行うことで物体を追跡する方式について述べる。従来のテンプレートマッチングを用いた物体追跡では、対象物体の見かけの大きさ変動が起こった場合の追随能力が低く、追跡が不安定となっていた。本方式では、監視カメラの視野内に侵入した物体に対し、物体の上下部分2ヶ所のテンプレートを採取し、これらを独立にマッチングする。2つのテンプレートのマッチング位置の距離から対象物体の大きさ変化を検出し、テンプレートを順次更新することで、カメラ光軸方向に運動する物体を安定に追跡できる上、検出した物体を追跡しつつズームして適切な大きさにとらえ続けることも可能となる。 |
| 抄録(英) | This paper presents a new object tracking method. It automatically follows the object and estimates of the object size change. Under the situation of changing the object size, conventional method using template matching tracks the object unstably. This method extracts object image using separated (upper and lower) templates. The object size is calculated by the distance between two positions that templates match. Continuously renewing the size of templates as well as image, the method can track the object stably. Automatic camera control (pan, zoom, etc.) is also achieved by this method. |
