| 抄録(和) | 掌紋の画像からその隆線を抽出するための方法を提案する.掌紋には指紋には存在しない組織的な皺が多数存在しており,従来の指紋用隆線抽出方式では隆線を抽出することかできない.そこで本研究では,そのような組繊的な皺がある部分でも皺の影響を受けることなく隆線を抽出することが可能な特徴抽出方式を提案する.本方式では、まず掌紋画像の局所領域毎にそこに存在する隆線画像の候補を複数抽出し,その中から周囲との整合性を基準に隆線を表す候補を選択することによって隆線抽出を行なう.提案方式を掌紋画像に適用した結果,線が多く存在する部分で従来法を上回る特徴抽出性能を確認できた. |
| 抄録(英) | A new Method of feature extraction for palmprint is presented in this report. In palmprint image, there are many creases which are organized like the ridges. Usual fingerprint feature extraction algorithms can not extract, ridges in such situation. Then, the goal of this research is to construct new method of feature extraction which can extract ridges even at the such areas. At first, original palmprint, image is divided into local images. The candidates of ridge in the local area are extracted from each local images of palmprint. And, only one candidate is selected as ridge in the area by estimation of continuity of some properties. Experiments with palmprint images indicate that proposed method can extract ridges better especially in the areas which the mixed ridges and creases. |
