Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper we propose an efficient method to solve the correspondence problem for segment-based stereo vision. A correspondence graph is built which describes the connectivity between candidate corresponding pairs of segments. Establishing correspondence is then reduced to a problem of searching for the optimal path which maximizes a similarity measure. The optimal path is found efficiently without suffering from combinatorial explosion by exploiting depth-first search accompanied with assigning the intermediate value of the measure to each node of the graph.
