Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In PICASSO system, it is also intended to extract facial individuality from the side view facial images and to generate its facial caricature. The reasons why we do that are that the side view face has the massive informations of the individuality features and that it would be easier to recognize its facial parts automatically. In the paper, we investigated on the application of the resampling algorithms to the method of the facial contour extraction. Furthermore, we proposed a method for deforming the facial parts being surrounded by the contour by means of Affine transform. It was clarified that this system can be realized automatically excepting the pointing of two facial feature points. It would be expected to release this problem in the near future.
