Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we present a framework for automated construction of three dimensional image processing procedures based on a sample figure presented by a user as a goal of the processing. Basically, the proposed method is a three dimensional version of the method used in two dimensional image processing expert system called IMPRESS which has been developed by our group. A method for construction of three dimensional mass pattern extraction procedures was implemented with application to artificial images and chest CT images. In experiments, it is shown that the image processing procedure generated by this system can extract nearly the same mass pattern as the given sample figure by the user.
