| 抄録(和) | 近年、遠隔地の人々が情報を共有し合い協力しながら作業を進めるグループウェアの研究が盛んに行われている。また、リアルタイムCGを利用した様々な空間操作のための仮想環境の実現も試みられている。本研究では、車のボディ形状等の設計を、複数の人間の意見を反映して行える環境の例として、ネットワーク接続された複数の端末から、リアルタイムでモデリング操作が行える協調作業システムを実現した。各端末からの複数の入力は常に制御され、仮想空間の状態は唯一に保たれるため、複数の操作者は共通のモデルに対して頂点の生成・移動、面の生成・着色等の入力操作を同時に行うことができる。システムはモデリング操作の入力やそれに対するモデルの最新状態を出力するためのクライアント端末と、仮想空間サーバとで構成される。 |
| 抄録(英) | In recent years, researches of groupware is drawing attention, where people in the distance can share the information and cooperate some kind of work. Additionally, virtual environments are realized to manipulate various objects in the 3D space by using real-time CG. In this paper, a cooperative modeling system is presented as an example of cooperative environment where the work such as car design is effectively achieved by multiple operators. The system consists of several client terminals and a virtual space server. The client terminal accepts input operation and displays the response from server. The virtual space server keeps an unique state of virtual space that is shared by any of the clients. Operations such as generation and modification of vertices and faces can be simultaneously executed while the other operator's operations are done. |
