Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In segmentation of the edge image, the missegmented parts caused by the edge gap have neck shape. Morphological skeleton is dissociated at neck shape of the input figure, and we propose a new segmentation method of edge image by utilizing this characteristic of morphological skeleton transform. First, in this method, we take the morphological skeleton for the input image. Then we make a clustering based on the reconstruction degree of skeleton, and the skeleton points which generated for the gap of the edge are removed as a noise points. The segmentation ability is demonstrated through the segmentation experiment on edge images which have some gaps.
