Abstract(in English) | This paper describes a new method for motion recognition using Eigenspace. A robot model-based analysis for human motion can calculate body poses from image sequence. The sequence of poses can be reduced into a trajectory on the two-dimensional eigenspace without any lose of motion-features. The motion recognition is performed by matching unknown motion trajectory with learned ones. Experiments for motion recognition on the eigenplane show our method is useful. |
