Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, an estimation method of polygon's orientation is proposed. This method estimates optimal orientation utilizing redundant informations given from the projected image of polygon. Also, an estimation method of circle's orientation, that is a simple expansion of polygon's version, is proposed. In this method, we utilize the fact that inscribed triangles of a circle have one circum center. Though both methods estimate the orientatioin by nonlinear optimization of two degree of freedom, the numerical costs are rather small because of utilizing vector operation. The validity was verified by some computer simulations.
