Positioning 2-D figures and 3-D objects in images based on Genetic Algorithms

Abstract(in English) Positioning process which determines the positions, sizes, rotational angles and so on of two dimensional figures and three dimensional objects in images is surveyed in this report. First, several conventional positioning method are explained and then it is mentioned that optimizing algorithms are very effective for positioning. Next, Genetic Algorithm;GA based positioning method are proposed Lastly several examples of GA based methods are demonstrated with several experimental results to prove that GA works very well for the positioning 2D / 3D shapes.
