Model-based Object Recognition by Voting with Feature of Intersecting Angles

Abstract(in English) This study aims to develop a method of model-based recognition of three-dimensional solid object with a monocular image. When using advanced geometric hashing techniques, it is important to reduce the size of hash table which is a voting space in order to implement real time application of the technique. We propose a method of recognition utilizing features of intersecting angles of local line segments. Experimental results with simulated images are evaluated.
