| 抄録(和) | LDA法は, 重み付きユークリッド距離, 2次識別関数などを原距離関数とし, 着目カテゴリのバタン集合と原距離関数を用いた識別でそのカテゴリに誤認識されたパタンの集合との間で線形判別分析を適用して求められる判別関数を原距離関数に重畳させることにより, 認識の高精度化を図るものである. 本報告では, 手書き漢字を対象とし原特徴に特徴変換を施して得られる特徴に対してLDA法を適用した場合について, 特徴変換法・原距離関数の比較, LDA法の効果の検証と結果の分析を行っている. LDA法を適用した結果, 誤読はテストパタンに対し35%減少する. |
| 抄録(英) | We describe the LDA method proposed originally by one of the authors and its application to handwritten Kanji recognition. In the LDA method, the discriminant function obtained by applying the Fisher's linear discriminant analysis is superposed onto the original distance function such as the weighted Euclidean distance. The LDA method is applied to transformed features of original ones. We describe experimental comparison between several transformation methods and original distance function, experimental results of applying LDA method and analysis for the results. The misrecognition rate for test patterns was reduced by 35%. |
