| 抄録(和) | 3次元ディジタル濃淡画像における図形境界面の形状解析のために, 3次元集中度を応用した特徴量を提案する. 3次元集中度は, ディジタル線図形の方向ベクトルに対して, その局所的な集中を定量化するために考案された特徴量で, すでに胸部X線CT像において悪性腫瘤に多く見られる血管・気管支の集束の定量化に利用されている. 今回は, この3次元集中度を面の法線ベクトルに適用することによって, 面の形状解析にも応用できることを示す. 本文では, まず, 人工図形を用いて面の法線に対する集中度の性質を明らかにする. 次に, この集中度を実際に胸部X線CT像から抽出された胸膜面の法線ベクトルに適用し, 悪性腫瘤によって引き起こされる胸膜陥入という形状異常をある程度定量化できることを示す. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper presents a new feature for analyzing the shape of surfaces in three dimensional(3D) grey images using the 3D concentration index. The 3D concentration index was proposed for quantification of the local concentration of 3D line patterns and used for quantification of vessel convergence in chest X-ray CT images. In this time, we applied the 3D concentration index to normal vectors of a surface. It is shown that the 3D concentration index is useful for analyzing the shape of a surface. First, the 3D concentration index is applied to normal vectors of artificial figures to show its basic properties. Second, the 3D concentration index is applied to normal vectors of pleura extracted from clinical chest X-ray CT images. As a result, it is shown that the value of the 3D concentration index significantly correlates with existence of pleural indentations caused by malignant nodules. |
