| 抄録(和) | 影は光源からの光線を対象物が遮ることによって生じ, 対象物の動きに伴って追随する. 画像データには対象物とその影が含まれているので, 画像処理により運動物体を検出すると, 対象物とその影が一つの運動物体の領域として抽出される場合が多い. 対象物の形状を解析する際, 影がその解析に影響するため, 対象物とその影の分離が必要である. 本稿では対象物とその影の分離方法を提案した. これは対象物の領域および影の領域を心線で表現し, その心線を用いて対象物とその影との領域の境界部分を分離点として求める手法である. 対象物の形状推定により, この手法の有効性について検討した. さらに,本手法の複数対象物への適用について考察した. |
| 抄録(英) | A shadow appears on a surface when rays from a source of light are cut off by a interposed opaque object. The object is always accompanied by the shadow. Both regions of the object and its shadow are often detected as one region in the image plane. As an estimation of shape (height) of the object is influenced by the region of the shadow, it is necessary to separate the two regions of the object and its shadow. This paper introduces a method of separation of objects and their shadows in the image. The effectiveness of the proposed method was examined by processing sti1l pictures and continued frame pictures composed of several objects. |
