| 抄録(和) | 本稿では, 動画像を利用した顔認識システムについて報告する. 本研究では, 登録から認識までの時間経過が短い場合を対象として, 顔向きや表情変化といった変動を吸収する顔認識の方法について考察する. 変動を吸収するために, 単一の画像だけで認識するのではなく, 時系列画像を用いた認識を行なう. 入力画像列をK-L展開によって部分空間として表現し, 登録パターンの部分空間との2つの部分空間の間の角度を類似度とする「相互部分空間法」を適用した. 相互部分空間法の有効性を調べるために, 画像中から高速に正規化顔画像パターンを切り出すシステムを用いて, 大量の実験データを収集し, 認識実験を行った. その結果について報告する. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper presents a face recognition system for human interface and security using temporal image sequence. As input we utilize several images of a face rather than a single shot so that the influence of facial expression and face direction can be attenuated. For the identification of the face, we essentially compute the subspace from the image sequence and apply the "Mutual Subspace Method" that defines the similarity by the angle between the computed subspace and those of pre-registered faces. It is naturally assumed that a registered face retains its form. We generate numerous normalized face patterns by the system and demonstrate the effectivity through the experimental results. |
