Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Driving environment recognition technologies are key technologies for ITS. So far, various methods to recognize of lane markers on roads and preceding vehicles are proposed because these methods are important for the driving environments recognition. Authors are studying lane and vehicle recognition using an edge histogram method which projects edge shading values obtained by an in-vehicle camera. This paper describes various lane recognition methods and proposes new edge histogram method using color information. |
