| 抄録(和) | ハンディ環境下で特定個人が使用する小型情報端末における個人字形の登録の効果について報告する。登録法は誤読パターンが生じる都度にこれを登録する逐次登録法である。筆記対象は391字種を含む756文字から成る文章とし、ハンディ型タブレットで特定筆記者3名が4回筆記したデータを学習データとし、筆記順に学習させた。学習データの認識率は学習前では71.3～82.8%であったが4回目には93.4～97.2%に向上し、また、テストデータの認識率は学習前には67.7～83.9%であったが4回学習後には93.1～97.6%に達した。この結果は従来、個人字形学習の有効性が報告されていた「据え置き型タブレット使用で学習前の認識率85%～90%」の範囲を超えたところでも有効性が成立することを示している。 |
| 抄録(英) | We present new experimental results that confirm the effectiveness of personal dictionaries in on-line character recognition. The personal dictionary grows by acquiring misrecognized input patterns whenever generated. The material consists of 756 characters with 391 different characters including Kanji. The correct recognition rate of personal character pattern data of three writers collected using a handy type tablet is improved from 71.3～83.8% to 93.5～96.6% for learning data, and from 67.7～83.9% to 93.1～97.6% for test data. The results show that personal dictionaries are far more effective than reported in traditional investigations. |
