Abstract(in English) | SFQ(Single Flux Quantum) technology has been improved, and various logic circuits using SFQ can be made. Ultra high speed packet switching can be done by using SFQ logic circuits. This paper proposes an architecture of ultra high speed router using SFQ banyan network. This system can deal with variable length IP packets without any additional processing. The performance of banyan network is compared with a simple VOQ (Virtual Output Queuing) packet switch by computer simulation. As a result, the banyan network is more efficient than the simple VOQ. |
