Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we evaluate the interference reduction effect of Frequency Hopping communication system for efficient use of private mobile radio band. Generally, when frequency hopping techniques are applied to cellular radio communication system, we can expect high spectral efficiency as a result of interference diversity effect which prevent impairment of BER performance due to interference signal incoming from adjacent cell. It is already known that the BER performance of frequency hopping system can be improved by using both of desired signal power level and that of interference while decoding process of error correcting code. We propose novel method to estimate interference power for this purpose.
