Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In mobile satellite communications, communication links are frequently affected by shadowing from blockage, since the link margin is designed to be small compared with terrestrial mobile communications. When the link is in shadowing state, packet communication cannot be maintained even if the ARQ is employed. This paper studies the effect of transmission control of packets following the channel state monitor to improve throughput performance in measured land mobile satellite channels. Computer simulation is carried out for the throughput and delay performance evaluation of Slotted CDMA-ALOHA system with Hybrid ARQ scheme. |
