Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report proposes a new distributed base station system with adaptive modulation. The distributed base station system allows us drastically to improve the frequency utilization efficiency performance, since all the mobile terminals in the service area are operating at the same frequency at the same time. In order to further improve the frequency utilization efficiency performance, an application of the adaptive modulation to the distributed base station syytem is investigated in this paper. Computer simulation confirms that the proposed system is capable of improving the frequency utilization efficiency performance.
