Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a the symbol synchronization method which reduces the influence of intersymbol interference(ISI)for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)systems. The proposed method extracts the timing which is not disturbed by delay spread within the guard interval(GI)by utilizing the cyclic extension. Thus, the proposed method is effective in reducing the influence of the ISI.The BER characteristics of the proposed system are evaluated using computer simulation. The results show that the system using the proposed method achieves almost the same performance as the system with the perfect synchronization.
