Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes a new PDM-COFDM (Polarization Division Multiplexed-Coded OFDM) scheme in order to increase the frequency utilization efficiency in broadband mobile communication systems. It is clarified that in cellular systems. the proposed scheme achieves higher planar frequency utilization efficiency than that of SDM(Space Division Multiplexed)-COFDM scheme by numerical analysis. Moreover, the proposed scheme employing link adaptation obtains the frequency utilization efficiency increase of 46% compared with SDM-COFDM on the condition of large inter-cell interference. |
