| 抄録(和) | 音声/データの統合技術は,VoFR (Voice over FR)からVoIP (Voice over IP)へと移行しつつあり,VoIPで音声をデータ網に統合したいというニーズは,着実に高まっている.それと共に,音声品質に対する注目も高まってきている.音声品質は,主観/客観評価によって表現される事が多く,それらはNW品質と密接な関係にある.これまで,筆者らは,NW品質と主観評価値(MOS)との対応関係を,揺らぎ吸収バッファを考慮し,パケット損失と遅延揺らぎの複合要因からなる無効パケット率を用いる手法で明らかにしてきた.しかし,その手法は,遅延揺らぎ尺度の定義が標準化されたものではなかった.本稿では,その手法を一般化するために,遅延揺らぎの評価尺度に,ITU-TやIETFで標準化された定義を用い,その適用性を検証した.ここでは,その結果と従来手法との比較,VoIP音声品質推定において本手法を用いる事の利便性を示す. |
| 抄録(英) | With increasing demands to integrate the voice and the data networks using VoIP (Voice over IP), techniques for evaluating the quality of VoIP are needed. In the conventional method of estimating speech quality of VoIP, the subjectivity quality (MOS) of the speech is estimated from the network quality. The method can estimate MOS based on the function of the playout buffer, the packet loss, and the delay variation of packets. However, the definition of the delay variation was not recommended by standardization organizations. In this paper, the delay variation metrics are generalized using the definition recommended by ITU-T and IETF, and the accuracy of the estimation method is verified. We show MOS estimated using the method with standerd metrics and our using the conventional method. We also show that the method with standerd metricsis more convenient than the conventional method. |
