Characteristic of Wireless Ad-hoc Network with Backup Node

Abstract(in English) Recently wireless ad-hoc network has attracted much attention. It is expected that shadowing and collision degrade the packet arrival rate, transmission time in wireless ad-hoc network. This paper suggests the use of backup node in ad-hoc radio network to support the transmission between relay nodes. The packet arrival rate and transmission delay are investigated using computer simulation, which are also compared with source routing and multi-route schemes. Also the performance is compared with that for CDMA scheme.
