Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, Site Selection Diversity Transmit Power Control (SSDT) and Abstract Multiple-SSDT (M-SSDT) are investigated for CDMA cellular systems. Simulation results show that, in combination with outer loop, target frame error rate cannot be always achieved with either of SSDT or M-SSDT. However, this problem can be solved by utilizing adjustment loop transmit power control. This paper also presents that the optimum measurement period of common pilot channel levels that are used for site selection depends on the velocity of mobile stations. With M-SSDT, however, the traffic capacity is less dependent on the measurement period in comparison with SSDT. In addition, it's also shown that, in a system composed of mobile stations with various velocities, the traffic capacity is almost maximized with measurement period of 1frame.
