Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we have proposed a code division multiple access (CDMA) multiplexing method suitable for accommodating multi-class transmission. This method multiplexes two kinds of connections of constant bit rate (CBR) and transmission control protocol (TCP) to a same slot, and allocates different transmission powers in CBR and TCP connections. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated by computer simulation for the forward link of a CDMA wireless system. It was shown that the proposed method provides near-maximum throughput and guarantees the quality of CBR connection independent of the number of connections.
