Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In W-CDMA, to reduce the complexity of mobile unit, a base station transmit diversity system that can construct receiver systems of mobile unit into a single has being standardized. The performance of base station transmit diversity depends on the antenna structure of the base stations. In this paper, we show the effectivity of transmit diversity over general path model, according to the correlation coefficient between the base station antennas, and to the difference of the averaged received power of mobile unit from each antenna. Also, we clarify the influence of antenna weight feedback delay and the influence when the antenna weight is quantized.
