A Study on Transmit Diversity Techniques Using Turbo-Codes

Abstract(in English) In this paper we present transmit diversity techniques using turbo-codes to improve receiver performance in a fading channel. In our previous study, we proposed the transmit diversity scheme implementing space division multiplexing (SDM) with turbo-coding for a BPSK signal. Here, we consider an enhancement of the proposed scheme to the multilevel modulation. The computer simulation results assuming a QPSK signal show that the proposed scheme has a better performance compared to other combing schemes.
