Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose to employ a spatial correlation coefficient as a criterion of channel assignment for SDMA in an angle-spread multipath channel. In the angle-spread multipath channel, an average spatial correlation coefficient becomes the criterion to determine the duplicate channel assignment. However, it is impossible to measure an average spatial correlation once at the request of channel assignment. Here, we propose to use the instantaneous spatial correlation coefficient as a criterion. The performance is evaluated using incomplete call ratio (ICR) as quality of service (QoS) and handover request ratio (HRR). The results show low HRR of the proposed methods.
