Abstract(in English) | In order to obtain an ideal radiation pattern using the adaptive array for FDD systems, calibration is required for not only the transceivers but also the antenna elements. We have already proposed an automatic calibration method for the adaptive array based on transmitting signals for FDD systems (ACT-F) using an additional antenna element for the calibration between antennas and a frequency convertor that utilizes the difference in frequency between the transmitter and receiver. In this paper, we propose a modified ACT for _FDD systems with a linear array (ACT-FL). This method utilizes signal circulation between antennas and achieves the necessary calibration including the antenna characteristics without requiring the additional antenna. In order to show the effectiveness of ACT-FL, we examine the element spacing which is used by the ACT-FL, and the SIR characteristics are also evaluated using an experimental adaptive array testbed when co-channel Interference (CCI) arrives. |
