Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed the layered demodulation which requires no side information for adaptive modulation. In this paper, we applied hybrid ARQ for the layered demodulation and confirmed the performance of that. There are many types of hybrid ARQs, but we chose type-1 since it is very suitable for the layered demodulation. We confirmed that hybrid ARQ is very effective when the maximum Doppler frequency is low. We also confirmed the tolerance of the system against reverse channel error. When the bit error rate is less than 4%, the performance of the system is not decreased.
