Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a novel adaptive modulation scheme with a fast fading compensator based on space-domain interpolation filtered array antenna. The space-domain interpolation filtered array antenna compensates for a fast variation by estimating the received signal at the fixed point with respect to the ground during the observation period. Computer simulation results show the proposed scheme is a efficient technique capable of improving the throughput and error rate performance of the adaptive modulation scheme in fast fading environment.
