Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents the computer simulation results on a method of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation for W-CDMA macro-cell BS (Base Station). MUSIC is a well known conventional DOA estimation method, but since it uses signals at individual path timings after decorrelation, it has too much complexity. Therefore, we proposed method which uses only a path combined signal, to reduce that complexity. Simulation results show that proposed method achieves RMSE = 4.81 [deg] under multi-path fading environment (There are three equal level paths which direction differs 10 degrees each other and have angular spread of 5 degress).
