Abstract(in English) We proposed Multi-carrier/Multi-rate Modem for small earth station which can process variable rate signal transmitted from different location, The proposed Modem is composed of Multirate Filter Bank(MFB) and Group Modem which is operated by time-division multiple process. The MFB is composed of some Filter Cell which has FIR filter, filter controll and memoty. The Group modem can set the modulation parameter such as bandwidth, modulation scheme, and the encoding rate for each port. In this paper, We describe the method of composing MFB and Multirate Group Modem which gas capability to handle hundreds of carriers. In addition, The performance of the prototype Multicarrier and multirate modem is evaluated. The results showed that the modem has comparable performance for each carrier modulation and demodulation as a single carrier modem.
