Abstract(in English) Knowledge of the teletraffic characteristics is indispensable for planning, designing, and operating the cellular communication networks. This paper investigates traffic characteristic such as handoff rate and call failure rate in cellular systems evaluated by computer simulation using cell dwell time models and transition probability estimated from measurements of vehicle motion. The results show, as for taxis in a little city, moving range is narrower than taxis in a large city, and it yield as difference of traffic characteristic.
