RCS2000-49 Effect of Interference Rejection Weight Control on Parallel-type Coherent Multistage Interference Canceller with Iterative Channel Estimation

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we evaluated the effect of interference rejection weight control(IRWC)on parallel-type coherent multistage interference cance ller(COMSIC)with iterative channel estimation using both pilot and decision-feedback data sym-bols at each cancelling stage for W-CDMA mobile radio. By computer simulation, we can obtain the following results;(1)by setting IRW to the optimum value at each cancelling stage, the parallel-type COMSIC was achieved the interference suppression effect as well as the serial-type COMSIC, (2)at the 3rd stage or later, the optimum IRW value was 1.0, (3)the effect of IRWC doesn't depend on the number of users and the optimum IRW value depends on the transmission rate(or the average received signal power), that is, the BER performance is sensitive to the IRW value of high-rate and the effect of IRWC for low-rate user is relatively small.
