Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper evaluated by computer simulation the impact of received E_b / N_o, received SIR of the desired user, information bit rate of the interfering users and angular spread between multipaths on the average BER performance in forward link with adaptive antenna array transmit diversity(AAA-TD). The transmit antenna weights of AAA-TD is generated by using the receiver antenna weights in coherent adaptive antenna array diversity receiver in the reverse link. It was clarified almost no difference was observed according to the difference of the received E_b / N_o and SIR of the desired user in the reverse link. It was also shown that the required transmit E_b / N_o using AAA-TD with both beam and null steering can be decreased by approximately 1.8(0.5)dB compared to the case using AAA-TD with only beam steering when interfering users with higher(the same)data rate exits in the reverse link.
