Abstract(in English) A channel estimation scheme using frequency and time domain averaging in OFDM systems is proposed. In OFDM burst mode transmission, esch sub-carrier channel is so difficult to precisely estimate that burst errors often occur in some sub-carriers. The proposed scheme uses the average of the channel fre-quency responses at the preamble and the data part in a burst. This paper shows improved PER performance by the scheme.
