Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a DS-CDMA/TDMA dual mode systems to achieve high speed and real time transmisson for data and voice transmission in the multimedia communication environment. In the proposed system, a frame is devided into CDMA sub-frame and TDMA sub-frame, TDMA sub-frame is assinged only for the long data terminal to shorten average delay time for data transmission.Transmitter power control and dynamic channel assignment are also employed for the TDMA sub-frame.Computer simulation confirms that the proposed system is very effective in improving delay performance without decreasing the transmission quality of voice terminals.
