A Study on the Power Control Recovering Methods after Idle Period

Abstract(in English) CDMA system requires high accurate power control to decrease the interference.However, since there are no power control can be done during idle period, the accuracy of power control must be tremendously reduced after a long idle period.Therefore, the accuracy should be converged rapidly after idle periods.We propose two methods to improve the convergent speed and confirmed the performance of them.The one is called Adaptive Step Power Control(ASPC)and the other called extra power control before wake up(Pre-wake).
