Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an ortbogonal frequency division multiple access/time division duplex(OFDMA/TDD)baseda asymmetric wireless access scheme to support wireless multimedia communication services. In the proposed system, radio of the downlink and uplink radio resource is adaptively controlled according to the traffic conditions. As the access scheme for the uplink, the proposed scbeme employs OFDMA in which a certain number of OFDM sub carriers are randomly selected, Where one of them are used to transmit information for the Selected subcarriers and the others are used for message transmission.Subcarriers transmitted by the same terminal are demodulated using FFT.On the other hand, the inter-subcarrier interference between terminals is mitigatedby packet retransmission because such interference can be regard as akind of packet collision.Computer simulation confirms that the propsed system achieves good average delay preformances.
