Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The characteristics of the Costas carrier recovery loop(Costas Loop)and the decision feedback carrier recovery loop(DFL)in a roll-off band-limited QPSK signals transmission where the carrier frequency and the simbol rate were 10.7 MHz and 64 kS/s respectively were compared and evaluated experimentally. The performance of the Costas Loop and the DFL was investigated through the measturements of the phase jitter of the recovered carrier, the acquisition waveform and the bit error rate with respect to three loop natural frequencies(ω_n).A result was obtained that the DFL was superior to the Costas Loop in terms of the phase jitter and the bit error rate.
