Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, space division multiple access(SDMA)has been proposed to improve channel effciency. In this paper, we assume that an MMSE adaptive array is employed at a base station, and we examine the performance of the system with and without SDMA for both fixed channel assignment(FCA)and dynamic channel assignment(DCA).The performance is evaluated using quality of service(QoS)in addition to the blocking rate and forced call termination rate. The results show that the SDMA achieves 2.2-fold capacity improvement at the blokineg rate of 3% in FCA on 9 cells per cluster.
