Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes blind demodulation techniques in the presence of intersymbol interference. The proposed demodulation schemes employ an adaptive maximum-likelihood sequence estimation with per-survivor processing (PSP-MLSE). It prepares multiple PSP-MLSE's for deferent estimated channel memory lengths respective for different sampling timing caused by over-sampling. In addition, it selects the most reliable PSP-MLSE by means of reliability information of its decision sequence and outputs the decision sequence. Thus, it doses not need unique word (UW) except for frame synchronization Finally, computer simulation confirms that the proposed blind demodulation techniques have excellent performance.
