Abstract(in English) | In 1992, ITU allocated the 2-GHz band frequencies for the 3rd generation mobile radio communication system (IMT-2000) which can realize global services in the world. Japan is intensively contributing to make the international technical standards for IMT-2000. This system will be introduced around 2001 in Japan after the technical standard is regulated. It is very important to evaluate the characteristics of the interference with the existence system when introducing IMT-2000 at 2-GHz band in the domestic market. The technical group which was organized by the Association of Radio Industries and Businesses has investigated the mutual frequency interferece between IMT-2000 and the other systems. In this paper, the examination of interference between W-CDMA and PHS, and between W-CDMA and W-CDMA will be presented. The experimental parameters are selected to evaluate the influence of chip rate and adjacent channel power ratio. |
