Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There are synchronization techniques using time correlation of guard intervals in OFDM. Though, in this technique, demodulator complexity of base station increases for mobile telecommunication system such as BDMA system, that is one of FDM systems. In this paper, we propose a new synchronization technique. In this technique, a cycle prefix part of OFDM wave is picked out and transformed to frequency domain by FFT, then frequency offset is detected in frequency domain. And timing offset is detected by phase shift quantity of received symbols. Using this scheme, Demodulator complexity of base station can be reduced without any degradation.
